Who Receives Grants?

The fund targets the Yolo County child who has an attorney or a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) to represent his or her best interests, and whose parent(s) or guardian(s) cannot meet the child's needs.

To receive consideration, requests for funds must meet the following criteria:

• Provide for an emergency need of the child and/or

• Enhance the quality of a disadvantaged child's life by providing funds for a special project, gift, or opportunity that would otherwise go unmet.

The current maximum award is $250.
